This course contains everything you need to know to get started as the stand-up bass player in a bluegrass, country, or folk group. (it would also be good beginning foundation knowledge for rock, blues, jazz, or pop). You will learn: where the notes are, scales, chord progressions, basic music theory for bass, how to watch the guitar chords, bass runs, technique for both hands, tuning, several songs, & much more! (*electric bass is tuned the same as the 'violin bass', so it is musically the same thing.)
